A true treehouse to connect with nature

Wanting a ‘true treehouse’ (without stilts or other supports) to escape to from the difficulties of daily life, we were somewhat limited with the trees on the customer’s property. However this semi mature Silver Birch became a wonderful host tree once we applied lots of imagination. To allow us to build a full structure without other supports we needed to allow the branches to pierce the roof in several places so we decided the best option was to build an open sided treehouse. It’s now the perfect location to read a book or sip champagne whilst watching the sunset over the fields. And unless it’s pouring with rain or blowing a gale it provides good shelter from the elements creating the opportunity to spend more time outdoors. It’s truly a great place to reconnect with nature as it’s shared with the birds that regularly fly in and out.
