Summer cabin and winter storage space
This charming little cabin is a hybrid of sorts. In the summer it functions as an additional guest accommodation come potting shed and in the winter it’s perfect to store the garden furniture in. Plus on the side, it has a purpose-built log store. Cosy and chic inside, the walls are low to allow a pitched roof within permitted development whilst being right on the properties boundary line. The combination of Yakisugi treated shiplap cladding and random Cedar Shingles, with the addition of the patterned Cedar decking, give its captivating appearance.
“We knew from our first meeting with Zach that he understood what we were hoping our cabin would look like and that he would build it for us.
He had such exciting and original ideas suggesting the shingles below the windows, the Japanese burning treatment and the beautiful herringbone cedar decking, which we had never seen used before.
What we did not realise was the incredible quality we were going to get. Zach builds with the best materials and his attention to detail is exceptional and he thinks of everything - making sure our cabin will last for decades in perfect order. Also he and the team work so tidily and efficiently they are a joy to have around.
Our shed is unique, unusual, beautifully functional and eccentric, everything we dreamt of!”
