A beachside guesthouse for visiting friends

This charming little cabin is tucked perfectly between the towering pines. The natural materials complement the surrounding foliage and make it hard to imagine a time when it wasn’t there.  Just a 5-minute walk from the beach it was built in the garden of the customers beach-house to accommodate the countless friends always coming to stay. Complete with its own outdoor shower which is perfect for rinsing off after a surf to avoid bringing the beach indoors. Locally sourced pine was used for the traditional “Board and Batten” cladding on the exterior and also the shadow gap vertical cladding on the interior walls and ceiling.
